Common questions from Price Right RV customers.
Use a surge protector with an integrated fault indicator. Before plugging in, visually inspect the receptacle for melting or scorch marks. If it feels loose or looks burned, ask the campground to move you.
Always attach the water pressure regulator directly to the campground spigot, not at the RV inlet. This protects your water hose from bursting.
Your fresh water tank may be empty, or the winterizing valve near the pump may still be turned toward the antifreeze inlet tube instead of the fresh tank. Check the valve alignment.
Flush all lines with fresh water until clear. Make sure to flip the water heater bypass valves to normal operation before turning the water heater on, otherwise you will burn out the heating element.
