Just because you’re traveling in your RV during the holidays doesn’t mean that you can't celebrate. There are all kinds of ways to make the season bright while RV camping, so check out this guide from the experts at Price Right RV.

Where to Go

Airports get crowded and ticket prices rise during the holiday season. If you need to visit out-of-state relatives, why not use your RV? Explore local holiday displays and events on your way. Many RV parks have holiday events of their own, so call ahead or visit their website for more information.

Decorations

There are all kinds of different ways to decorate your RV for the holidays! Switch your blankets and pillows for seasonally-themed equivalents, and hang up some ornaments. If space is limited, simpler decorations like garlands or ribbons can help you create a festive atmosphere. If you really want to go big, a lot of house decorations are compatible with your camper.

Food

If you’ve done a lot of cooking in your RV, you understand the challenges of working with a smaller kitchen space. Get creative and consider substituting holiday staples with equivalents that are easier to cook in an RV. Some RV parks have public kitchens that you can use to whip up the more complicated dishes.

Gifts

Shopping for a fellow RV owner can be challenging. For example, a gift card for a local chain might not be as useful for someone who travels a lot. Since RVs tend to have limited space, consider getting them a camper accessory or a food product that they like.
